These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the OffRamp iOS app and the website at keepofframp.com (together, the "Service"), operated by OffRamp ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. OffRamp is not medical advice

This is the most important term on this page. OffRamp does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or dosing guidance. It never suggests doses, taper schedules, or when to start, change, or stop any medication. It is a tracking and habit tool that works around the plan your prescriber gives you.

Nothing in the app or on this website creates a clinician-patient relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any question about a medical condition or a medication. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read in OffRamp. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or your local emergency number.

OffRamp is not a medical device and has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. OffRamp is intended for adults managing their own weight maintenance.

3. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the OffRamp app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (the standard EULA) also applies to the app, and these Terms supplement it. Where the two genuinely conflict on the same point, the standard EULA governs.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service.

4. No accounts, and what that means for you

OffRamp has no accounts and no sign-in. Your data lives on your device. That has a consequence you should understand before you rely on it: if you delete the app, reset your data, or lose your device, we cannot recover your records for you, because we never had them. Use the app's encrypted backup if your history matters to you.

5. Subscriptions, purchases, and cancellation

Core tracking in OffRamp is free. An optional Pro tier is available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.

  • Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple; we never receive your card details.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Managing and cancelling. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings, not in OffRamp. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not retroactively refund the current period.
  • Refunds. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly, but we will help you with the request. See Apple's refund request page.
  • Free trials. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with or overload our infrastructure or our providers', to scrape or bulk-extract content, or to build a competing dataset from our proxy endpoints. We may suspend access to server-backed features if a request pattern threatens the Service for everyone else.

7. Third-party services and data

Some features rely on third parties, described in the Privacy Policy: Groq for meal photo estimation, FatSecret for food search and barcode data, OpenFoodFacts for barcode product names, and Apple and RevenueCat for purchases. Their terms apply to their data and services.

Nutrition data shown in the app is "Powered by fatsecret Platform API" and is subject to FatSecret's terms and privacy policy. Nutrition estimates from any source, including photo estimation, are approximations and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for clinical decisions.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by OffRamp and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding. Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, and Mounjaro are trademarks of their respective owners; OffRamp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them, and refers to them only to describe what the app is used for.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate, trend, or protein figure it produces is accurate for your circumstances.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OffRamp and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty-five US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Apple

Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim that the app fails to conform to a warranty may be directed to Apple for a refund of the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 8 through 11 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which OffRamp is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
